Description
There should be a Top 100, because I have too many characters I really love but god they are very despised. I guess I just had to choose ten of them.
WALUIGI (FROM MARIO FRANCHISE)
"He just was created to be Wario's partner", "his voice is so annoying", "worst character ever" and blah blah blah... these are some reasons why Waluigi is so hated. Well, blame to Nintendo for not giving him the development he deserves, and give him the opportunity to appear in main games (not only spin-offs). After all, Waluigi is a good character in my opinion, I personally love him in Mario Party 3 (I know, he can be a nuisance but that is part of the little personality that he has).
DAISY (FROM MARIO FRANCHISE)
The "Hi I'm Daisy!" is not a good reason to hate her (Did you know she says it only in one game?). Daisy is not a Peach's clone (the dress is the only thing similarly, but because they are princess and they are good friends, right?). Same like Waluigi, she deserves the chance to appear in not-spin offs games.
For that reason and more Waluigi and Daisy have much in common. That's why I ship them.
BIRDO (FROM MARIO FRANCHISE)
I don't know why so much contempt for this character. As if it was something bad to be a transvestite, homosexual, etc.
AKANE TENDO (FROM RANMA 1/2)
Beginning with the manga/anime category Tsundere (if you don't know what it is, for that is the internet). I personally like her, maybe because I identified myself with her (Yeah, I also have a bad temper). Akane is hated for that... Come on! It's only japanese comedy.
MILK/CHI-CHI (FROM DRAGON BALL)
Another "Tsundere" character (for some reason I have a special affection for that type of character xD). I can't believe she is one of more hated from the Dragon Ball/Z fandom. Well, I wonder how you would react if your husband or wife leaves you (for any reason, maybe he/she prefers fights) with the children, and you only have to take care of all that implies.
MIYAKO/YOLEI INOUE (FROM DIGIMON ADVENTURE 02)
I must admit it, I didn't like her at first time I watched the whole series when I was a little girl (well I was a little brat that hated almost everything). But then I started to like her. I find her funny, she is like the combination of Sora and Mimi xD. The only thing I don't like about her is the fact she ends up with Ken.
INSECTOR HAGA/WEEVIL UNDERWOOD (FROM YU-GI-OH! DUEL MONSTERS)
I can understand -but slightly- why many people hate this character, he was a jerk in the whole series, but as always everything is exaggerated. I personally had no problem, in fact, I loved him (especially his deck, my fave cards are The Great Moth and The Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth). A very underrated character.
Honourable mention: Dinosaur Ryuzaki/Rex Raptor. Another character I love but just like Weevil, he is very unappreciated.
CANCER DEATHMASK (FROM SAINT SEIYA/Knights of the Zodiac)
"BUT MANIGOLDO IS THE BEST!!!1 THE GOLDEN SAINTS FROM LOST CANVAS ARE BETTER!!"
Calm. The. Fuck. Down... I watched the anime version of Lost Canvas, and I've read the manga... and with all of that, I still prefer the gold saints from the classic Saint Seiya (I'm not a nostalgiafag o kurutard, so spare the comments). It could work more on this character, what a pity.
Honourable mention: Pisces Aphrodite.
SAKURA HARUNO (FROM NARUTO)
I think it's pretty obvious what I'll write. I hated this character at first time I watched the series. But I start loved her in Naruto Shippuden... but then, I hate her now thanks to the end of manga... well, the correct word would be disappointed.
Oh well, I can only remember as the character was before... and despite all, I still like her.
REBECCA CUNNINGHAM (FROM DISNEY'S TALESPIN)
She's like the mom that no child would like to have (that's what people about this character).
It's the same thing happens with Milk/Chi-Chi from Dragon Ball; just hate the character because she has a bad temperament, can be annoying, etc, etc. That's funny... she is an enterprising woman and not only that, she alone has to look after her daughter... yeah, good reasons to hate her.
Rebecca reminds me to my mom. She can be bitch sometimes but I recognize that she is a working woman, and she is admirable. But her attitude keeps bothering me.

I see good in Yolie, it's just that, she tends to get over zealous sometimes. Ms. Conningham has good intentions for her loved ones, but, she tends to get a little hot headed at times. So, I see the pro's and con's to the characters.
